Health & Safety

Behaviour, discipline and welfare of students are the responsibility of the school at all times whilst inside the zoo. No student is to be left unaccompanied during your visit. Schools are entitled to bring 1 member of staff for free per 10 students. We ask that you observe this teacher-student ratio at all times in the zoo.

First Aid

Dedicated first aid area, fully trained First Aiders on site at all times. The Education Officer is also First Aid trained. Please report accidents or emergencies to the Zoofari shop or the education officer.

Risk Assessment

We are happy to provide a copy of our site Risk Assessment covering public Health & Safety Issues. If an independent Risk Assessment is required by your local governing authority please enquire about Teachers Preview visits.
