Everyone loves animals. Some of us are fortunate enough to share our lives with them as home companions or workmates but even a run of the mill goldfish needs special care and a willing wallet to thrive and be happy. Here at the Isle of Wight Zoo we have the expensive but privileged responsibility of caring for endangered and unwanted wild animals, each one of whom makes up our special 'family’ of individuals.
We are incredibly fond of each and every animal be it a reptile, primate or feline and we feel strongly that connecting these animals to the hearts and minds of other humans is critically important in this day and age of ever crumbling habitats and crimes against wildlife. Our newly launched adoption scheme is the vessel by which we aim to promote opportunities for people all over the globe to link up and bond with one of our animals thereby helping to provide vital funds for our work. If we could have a pound in the kitty for every time someone has fallen in love with a charismatic big cat or a 'cute’ monkey we, and they, would be very happy!

The Love Me? Adopt Me! Club has been thoughtfully designed to appeal to all budgets and set-up for individual buyers to schools and corporate groups. Over the years we have taken on board the comments and wishes of our trusted adopters and have woven these into a colorful new scheme for 2009 which we hope will more than satisfy your needs. We have come to rely on our adoption scheme as a source of revenue to soak up the never-ending stream of bills associated with wild animal care.
