Halloween Fun at the Isle of Wight Zoo
Halloween at the Isle of wight Zoo was a big success this year.
On the night of Saturday 30th October spooky specialists Vectis Investigations into the Paranormal took the public into our fort to search for signs of spiritual activity as the clock ticked over to Halloween. They reported finding at least one belligerent spirit with a tendancy to push people.
During the day of Sunday 31st the animals got their turn to join in the fun. The carvivores were treated to straw dummies - complete with sausage entrails - while the herbivores were given spooky pumpkins and toys. The black lemurs were even given mock skeleton hands with a honey coating, as well ask skull buckets with treats hidden inside. The Halloween bloodfest was a definite success, and the keepers are already planning next year's activites.
