Do you have a keen interest in the art of wildlife photography ?

Throughout the main season an exciting series of full day photography workshops are hosted by professional wildlife photographer Karen-Jane Dudley, who will guide you throughout the day with advice and tips on the art of wildlife photography .
The workshops  provide unrivalled views behind the scenes giving those with an interest in photography a unique opportunity to photograph a variety of the zoo’s stunning big cats  at close quarters .
The workshops are designed to cater for all levels of photography from entry level using compact cameras to those using DSLR .
The workshops focus primarily on big cats ,but there maybe opportunities to photograph other animals at the zoo throughout the day.
The full day workshop will include personal guidance and tuition throughout the days photography sessions , lunch and refreshments.

Early booking is recommended due to limited number of places available

Sessions maybe subject to last minute change depending on animal welfare and weather.
Each group to accommodate min 8 people/max of 12 per workshop. If sufficient places are not sold classes may have to be cancelled, in which case the zoo will refund your fees or allocate you a place on another workshop at your request.

Due to the close behind-the-scenes nature of the workshops a strict age restriction of aged 18 or over only.

About KJ Dudley

With many years of experience as a professional photographer specializing in the big cat  photography field.

Karen-Jane or " KJ " as she is simply known to most has, seen an increase in  publishing demand for her images on a global level including  UK ,Europe , South Africa , USA , Asia , Australia and South America .with exhibitions in both the UK and USA. 

KJ also hosts workshops twice a year teaching the art of responsible & ethical wildlife photography in South Africa , Botswana & Nambia.

KJ  has proudly been the zoo's official photographer for many years,providing images for retail,media,social media, promotional & marketing materials.
In early 2014 KJ combined her photography work with an opportunity to also take on the post of the zoo's current marketing manager.
