There's lots to do at the Isle of Wight Zoo. Naturally you can look at our animals, but we also want you to have the chance to discover a bit more about them - and have fun doing it! We have activities and facilities for every age group, all aimed at making your day
as enjoyable as possible.

Zoo Tours
In 2011 we launched Zoo Tours, which were a big success and will continue throughout 2012. Our friendly guides will help you explore the zoo, stopping off to meet our keepers who'll introduce you to their animals. These are the people who'll be able to tell you how much poo tigers do, and what our monkeys like for breakfast.
Talks will run on the following schedule throughout the winter:
- 10:30am - Big Cat Tour
- Noon - Meet the Wallabies
- 1.30pm - Primate Tour
- 2.30pm - Big Cat Feed
- 3.30pm - Small animal handling in Zoo at Home.
"It was so amazing to see a huge tiger solve the puzzle of where his food was then how he flipped two big tires over! once he found his meat. It was worth going just to see this" - Chandanda, Trip Advisor review.
Buy a £2 token at the shop and you'll be able to
meet the wallabies at feeding time! Number are limited so we advise you to get your token on arrival.
Zoo at Home Handling Zone
Zoo at Home is an indoor area devoted to companion animals. This is where visitors of all ages can learn about caring for their pets and have the chance to hold the animals.
Zoolitte Farm
One of the most popular areas with our younger visitors, Zoolittle farm is an area they can get hands-on with rabbits, goats and other farm animals.
The Stamp Trail
Hidden around the zoo are animal stampers waiting for you to find them. If you fancy a challenge take a free stamp passport from the entrance and see it you can fill it up.
