*During winter opening days, in the event of extreme weather we may not open the zoo. This would typically be very icy conditions, or storms. However, if in doubt please feel free to phone on the morning of your planned visit to confirm we are open.
You can buy zoo tickets on the day, but you can also buy them in advance.
TicketSouth sell tickets over the internet or by phone. You may also be able to buy them in conjunction with ferry travel - check with your travel provider.

Come Back for £1! Keep your ticket and you will be able to return within a week for just £1 per person.
Please note that tickets are non-transferable, and we may require signature proof of identity. Offer runs between 11th Feb 2012 - 31st October 2012.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Same-day visitors to neighbouring attraction Dinosaur Isle will receive a 10% discount on production of their ticket .
We regret that we are unable to allow dogs into the zoo, as they distress our animals. This includes service dogs. Please do not leave your dog in the car, particularly as our car park has no shady areas.

We can be found on Yaverland Road, Sandown, right in front of the beach. This is on the SouthEast side of the Island and is easily accessible by road. If using SatNav, our postcode is

Island Line Trains serve Sandown Station, with a 20 minute train ride from Ryde Station. From Sandown Station there is a walk of 20-30 mins to the zoo. Tickets can be
purchased online or by calling 0845 6000 650.
